Mark is a Solicitor who has rejoined our firm in February 2015. Mark is excited to return to the practice as it will enable him to work with our other experienced Solicitors and staff to provide a holistic approach to each individual client’s needs.  This will include not only any Family Law matters but wills and estates, Conveyancing and property transfers and commercial matters.

Mark was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland and High Court of Australia in February 2009.  After leaving school in 1997, Mark worked in law firms, firstly as an office junior, before commencing his Articles of Clerkship whilst studying his law degree part time.  He has always worked in the area of family law, child protection and domestic violence. Mark has previously been mentored by Accredited Family Law Specialists including Stephen Maguire and Andrew Crooke.

Mark has a particular interest in mediation and resolving matters outside of the Court process if possible.  This is important to Mark to limit the impact on children and the parties when dealing with their separation.

Mark can provide quality advice to you with respect to all aspects of your family law matter, ensuring that you understand each and every facet of the mediation or Court process. Mark’s goal is to ensure that your individual needs are met and to ensure that you are able to rebuild your future post separation.

Mark has completed his initial Collaborative Law training. Collaborative Law is an alternative way of attempting to resolve your dispute with a former partner outside of the Court forum.

Outside of the office, Mark and his wife have two young children. He plays an active interest in their extracurricular activities (Rugby League, BMX racing, Dancing, and Tennis).  Mark is a coach of his son’s rugby league team, President of the local BMX Club and a keen racer himself. Mark is also an active member of his children’s school community.
